Are girls that do this disgusting?

I recently found out that a lot of girls have on their periods! I was totally grossed out (im a girl too) and they were all treating me like I was immature but really I was grossed out beyond belief! Do you think that is gross or normal? It cant b normal, it makes me queasy just typing it! ugh!
