Webcam desktop recorder?

OK umm my friend and i went on webcam on msn, but he wasnt on msn for his webcam, it was recording his mouse movement and only showing his screen, so somehow his webcam is connected to his mouse... so yh im asking for a Download link for this .. or can someoen tell me hwo to do it?
