My left testicle has been hurting for three months and doctors treatment is nto helping?

i was told i "probably" had some sort of infection from prostititus and it was causing my testicle to hurt but tests showed no bacteria at all, ive been on antibiotics now for a month and had a round before for about a week and i am still in pain, ive seen multiple doctors about it and they all say it feels fine to them and "they dont know" any other guys have long lasting pain in a testile? its mostly during and after but sometimes hurts all day. what could this be? can someone have a testicle removed if they want? even if theres not any medical problem that can be seen? i cant imagine dealing with a naggin pain in my bullock for the rest of my life or always havin to take it easy during .
