What is the chance an embryo will start to form? Anyone experience a "false" pregnancy?

Ok so i missed my period for 2 months and all of my tests came up negative. So my doctor sent me for an ultrasound just to be sure. I had the ultrasounds done 2 weeks ago. When she did the tummy ultrasound she could not find anything, so we decided to do the l ultrasound. During the l ultrasound she did find something. She said legally since the ultrasound techs are only allowed to say so much she could not say i was pregnant. But she said if there was a positive pregnancy test then what she showed me would be the gestational sac. But the problem was it was empty. On the follow up papers it said it measured about 5-6 weeks with no sign of an embryo growing in it. My doctor said that there is a chance that an embryo will start growing in it, but theres also a chance that it wont. And if it doesnt then i have to go and get the sac removed. I am going for another ultrasound in a week to check up on things to see which way it goes. What im asking is how common are these "false pregnancies" and whats the chance that nothing will form in the gestational sac? Anyone experience this? Im also suffering from all the horrible symptoms of early pregnancy and do not want to do this again all for nothing! Any advice? Thanks everyone =]

Why are my ammonia levels rising after tank has cycled?

I have had my tank up for 4 weeks, it is a 20 gal and I used the fishless cycling method, after 2 weeks of adding ammonia daily, my levels evened out, ammonia at 0ppm, nitrite at 0ppm and nitrate at 10ppm. I did a water change, nitrates read 5ppm and I added 6 fish on 2/17 to start, 4 Platies and 2 Gouramis. I have tested my water each day and all levels were good. Then, I tested a few minutes ago and my ammonia reading was 0.25ppm, nitrites 0ppm and nitrates 5ppm. What is happening?

Trouble finding motivations to live?

I don't know whats been going on but ever since I have not been able to go to church I just have no desire to do anything. I used to love reading the bible or any kind of books but now I have no desire at all. I find it so hard to get up everyday and I wish I could be just not here. No, it will not break your computer. You just need to reinstall of the drivers on your computer if you delete all of the partition. The reason you keep getting the error is because you already have a OS on your computer and you trying to install the same OS. Which your computer will not allow. Installing the drivers is pretty easy since you just copy the model number of your motherboard and look them up. Also your BIOS firmware have nothing to do with you installing XP on your hard drive.

Why is there so much for SAGE and so little for Learning Disabled?

There is so much offered to help the children in the SAGE program advance, which is wonderful. There is a webpage designed by the lead teacher of SAGE that keeps parents informed and offers websights and other helpful information. My friend has a child attending an elementarty school here in town who is in SAGE and he has 2 hours everyday that he and a select few leave cl to be provided special learning opprotunitys..very small teacher to child ratio. On the other end of the spectrum children with dyslexia or other LD have no website for their parents and my son barely gets thirty min a day exclusion time. It doen't seem fair...these children need so much more! They are pushed through school so"No child will be left behind"but when they graduate they can't even spell.My son has a B in 7th grade spelling yet he can't spell some of the most simple core words. When our school was no longer a school of excellence a letter went home blaming LD kids.What a slap in the face.

I am also scarred to lose my public istance benefits if i return to work, for these are tough times and HASA is paying my rent entirely. I think if i return back to work it would have to be part time, because of the obvious reasons stated above. Apart from the slight change in weather..it's not much different. I must admit that Houston City ( downtown ) is beautiful. A very open place unlike other cities where I used to live. I like the million and one ways around town besides the freeways. ( stay away from the Pierce Elevated at rush hour ). There are tons of things to do, places to visit and cultural events. Galveston is but a hop skip and a jump away. The pay scale is pretty comparable to most places ( depending on what you work in ). Crime is like most cities..( stay away from SW side of town ). Schools ( higher education ) has a good selection. U of H is pretty good, my son goes there. The people are pretty open, but like any place we have our share of ******* who would sell their grandmother if it suited them. HCC I don't know much about. I think you will like it.

I used to be a server, and serving is a breeze to me, so much so i got bored with it and hated the wage, so i got hired out at a call center as a technical support rep. I know my way around a computer like the back of my hand so that's not a problem for me, it's just the whole cubicle, headset, phones, and stapler 8hr a day environment that frightened me a bit. The cubicles are tiny, people try to decorate theirs but it makes it look more depressing and more crammed, and they are all squeezed into a big warehouse size building. All of them, in rows and columns with their headsets on and slouched over. How do you people do this 8 hours a day???

when you boot in your older version of windows if it is running still then you see the properties of the drive and find the amount of gbs you decided to keep in that patition and see the another patition where you installed w7, now if your older window is running perfectly then install w7 clean by booting it from the dvd, but you must need a bootable dvd to install otherwise you will need to open setup from the olderversion of windows(like xp) and when you install this w7 newly select advanced option and format the partition where you r going to install w7 so first record the bytes allocated for the drive partition. get expart help if you r not experianced in this type of works

Why do people, even my own friends, hate(dislike) me so much?

I know I have always been different and not the average cookie cutter teenager. I'm not from this country, I was not raised like the kids in this country, I don't act like the kids in this country, I get teased for my accent, and I don't try to fit in. My daughter is know 14 almost 15. I had her since she was born and then for 8 more years. My husband, her father, cheated on me since she was born and I kicked him out in 2000. I have had to work always fulltime to support my kids, I had a son too, now 28. My ex lived with his girlfriend and then the divorce was final in 2002. 2 days after the divorce was finaliced, they got married and actually took my daughter to the wedding without me knowing, out of state. It was her weekend with him. Since I was then single, I had to continue working fulltime. She was in private school previous to the divorce but he did not want to pay for it anymore, so I had to get her into public school. IAfter school she had to stay in a program as so many other children did and I picked her up after I left work. Her father sometimes even did pick her up for the igned weekends. But as soon as he was re-married, he picked her up from school one day in a week and then every other weekend. And that was ok because it wa court order. But as soon as I started dating again, he started compalins...that I don't treat my daughter right...that I am unfit...and so on. He once filed a restraining order so I could not get my daughter back from the visit with her father. It was overturned by the court because he lied. However, he had more money and a big house and his wife did not have to work and they influenced my daughter to live with them because she would get everything she wants. I tried to fight it but I did not have the money for a good attorney. My daughter wanted to live with them and there was nothing I could do about it. If I would have fought it with attorneys, she would have resented me for life. So I sacrifieced and accepted. That was 6 years ago. Since then they always tried to sabotage the weekends that are supposed to be with me. They say that I have to accept that my daughter wants to be with her firends or playing soccer or going to this event or that event. This is going on and on and on. The time I have a chance to spend with my daughter is only half a day, one night and half the other day. She is now 14 going on 15 and has her weekends planned with her friends. To some point I let her cancel my weekends because I don't want her to resent me. But lately she always had something else. 7 weeks ago I asked her, on my weekend with her, if she goes with me to a party of my son's friends. It was a graduation party of his girlfriend. First she said yes and then she said she has something to do with her friends for school on that Saturday. I asked her if she can compromise and I pick her up at 2:00 pm instead of 10:00am. she said yes. The next day shortly before I wanted to pick her up, her stepmpther called me and said that my daughter has psychologiacal problems because of me and I should not force her to be with me if she has planned something with her friends. I sid that I am her mother and I have the right to be with my daughter. She said that "No, I am her mother and you are only her birthmother". Leave her qalone. I called my ex and he blew into the same horn. That night I received a message from my daughter that she only wants to see me sometimes. And since I haven't heard from her agin. She does not answer my tests, noe my calls, her father doesn't answer the phone, her Stepmopther either. I went to their house, (2 hours away), and no one opens the doors. I contacted my ex-inlawas, they don't answer either. The phones are working, they just ignore me. If I involve court or a lawyer, I can't afford, she may resent me more. But I have still no idea why my own dayghter won't respond and call or at least text me or conatct me. It is seven (7) weeks now and no word. Anyone now what I should do. I do not have any money for lawyers.

Front of car creaks when going over speed bumps?

I have a 2000 Saturn LS2. My car was fine the last time I drove it. However today when going over some speed bumps I heard a very loud creaking sound in the front of my car only. I think most people do say some things they do not really mean int he heat of an argument, but there is a line you can cross over into unacceptable and "mean". This is actually verbal abuse and very destructive and painful. I believe verbal (emotional) abuse is worse than physical abuse in that when you get his, it heals. When you say horrible, hurtful things, that damage doesn't heal. That pain, that damage, and that scar remains forever. The damage is done and cannot be erased. That is why it is important not to get carried away in an argument. Sometimes it is best to walk away for the moment and give yourself a little time to cool off and speak more rationally.

Exactly, go ahead with the divorce which now will be a contested one as hes going to fight you on everything if he even shows up which he may not. The only problem here is youll get the divorce with all your demands but iof you cant find him, then youre still responsible for those bills unfortunately. Hopefully you cancelled anything with his name on it or any card hes carrying. You can even sue him in court for money owed you but if hes gone into hiding it still wont do you any good. File whatever you need with the Police or courts via your attorney against him here so hopefully he will get caught and be a man and own up to his responsibility here, probably doubtful but one can always hope. Now after the divorce and taken that he didnt show so all the bills become yours, think about filing bankruptcy to get out from under these debts and able to start anew, just an idea here. Stop vomiting & back pain = [?

a few days ago i found out i got a yeast infection from the medicine i was taking to clear up my belly on ring infection i was taking amoxxicillan so i took it for a few days but got a yeast infection so i stopped my mom told me to buy monistat 7 and i took it for 2 days. while all this was going on my mom was very sick throwing up violently and bad diarrhea which she thought was food poisoning. on the 2nd night of taking monistat i started to get chills, nausea and i started violently throwing up as well i figured it was the side effects i threw up twice last night and tossed and turned all night my back is killing me to the point where i can not lay down but when i stand or sit up i feel light headed and dizzy i took pepto bismal for the nausea and advil for the back pains but its no help its been 3 days my moms still sick and now today my dad started throwing up! so, i just think i got what my mom got an so did my dad but how do i stop this feeling how do i make it go away? i hate feeling nauseous and my back is killing me i also have the chills i cant figure out weather i want a blanket or no blanket

He layed down on his bed and I just stood there and told him to lets go back out to the living room and he kept asking me if I was scared (this guy is an african from Liberia and i've always been warned to be careful around africans because they can be sneaky, no offense to any african reading this).I sat in the chair beside his bed then he said i needed to loosen up so i took my shoes off and put my feet up on his bed. before this he had never hugged me or touched me before. he leaned over the chair I was in and started touching my and I asked him what the hell he was doing then he held me down in the chair and got on top of me and he's bigger (muscular) than I am and I couldn't get him off of me and i had on shorts and he started reaching down my pants and i was doing all i could to get him off of me and get my cell phone out my pocket an call for help. he unzipped his pants and pulled my pants down and he already had a condom on and thats when he started to me and he a had my hands held down and i was trying to bite his face to get him off of me. when he got off of me i put my clothes on an got out of there and he had this stupid smirk on his face and he followed me outside to my car. i felt so stupid when i got home cuz my parents warned me not to go there even though im grown and can make my own decisions. the next day i called him and told him he needed to apologize to me and i wanted a real apology or i was gonna report him then the day after that in cl he apologized and said he'd never disrespect me again and stupid me I let it go and forgave him but I still didnt feel right about it. so that evening i sent him a text msg asking if we could meet face to face to talk about it and he said no because he was going to NY which i didnt believe so i said ok have a safe trip. two days later i sent him a simple text msg saying "hey, how's NY"? and i guess he really didnt go to NY because his gf had his cell and she lives in atl, so he either went to ATL to see her or she came here to charlotte to see him and asked me who i was and I said "nvm" then she sent me another txt asking "why wont u tell me who u are" then I said "I guess i have the wrong number" then she sent me one back saying that the guy said he doesnt know who i am and i said "ok"then she called my phone but i didnt answer cuz i was getting ready to go out with my friends. so i text his phone back saying "if he doesnt know who I am then he's a liar". That really got to me, he took advantage of me when i dont even like him like that and he knew i was interested in another guy and now he' saying he doesnt know me. WTF? if he was an honest person he wouldnt have to lie in front ofhisgf. so i called his number and he didnt answer and left him a msg asking him why he's lying and saying he doesnt know me and i called him a liar. he called me back about 20 minlater hollering in my ear saying "didnt i tell u to never call or text me again!!!???? I said "no, wtf is ur damn problem, are on drugs???" then he hung up on me. then i sent him a text msg back saying that he's a dirty *** liar and rapist and he better not say **** to me again, etc.. then the next two days I called him and left him msgs that I was reporting him for then this past monday he sent me a msg saying i was a "stocker" , i guess he meant "stalker". idk where he got off callin me a stalker when the whole time i was gonna forgive his *** and report him and he said he was gonna tell our professor that I was "stocker". I told him no one is stalking his ugly *** and that i was reporting his *** for and that my parents were with me (i havent even told my parents yet and dont plan on telling them, ive only told my friends and i want to handle this by myself).I still have to see him another eight weeks in cl :(

So how can a private citizen, bounty hunter, or PI take a party into custody on a warrant issued for contempt in relation to a child support case? Would one merely detain & transport the party to the nearest peace officer? Can the Court ign the warrant to someone other than a peace officer? What about the possibility of one doing this, then being charged with impersonating an officer, or kidnapping, false arrest, or similar issues? Car died while driving and wont start?

I have a 97 subaru outback 2.5l dohc and I was in second gear revving about 5 grand and it just stalled out and now it wont start. It turns over fine and everything and you can kind of hear the exhaust kick in and want to start but it just doesn't.. I changed the plugs and wires about a week ago so those are fine, I'm thinking it's the fuel pump or a bad ignition coil? The difference of S-video to Composite is nearly trivial because both formats are og and designed for the same picture resolution, also because you are doing home movies which are probably done with a low grade cmos or ccd sensor (as most camcorders are made) the difference for you would be unnoticeable, I think in the light of the cost difference of a s-video cable to composite it is far more practical to just use composite.

Is paint stripping hazardous to your health?

We just bought an old house that has a lot of lead paint. In my son's room, the lead paint is peeling and cracking off the moldings and we are deciding to have it stripped. I was told they are going to chemically strip it and was wondering if this is hazardous to your health? We will be moving into the house about 2 weeks after they strip the paint and then paint over it with a non-VOC paint. My son is only 4 months old and the fumes really worry me, but then again, so does the lead chipping paint. ARGH... any one know anything about this stuff? Should he live in another room for a while before moving into his room? How long should we wait?? Thanks!!

I am very interested in physics, math, and computer science but my main pion in life has always been the natural world-- rocks and minerals, volcanoes, and whatnot. i think the rims are 17x8. the tires from the factory came with 245/45/17. I was looking at some 275/40/17 but the "approved rim width" was for 9'' to 11'' width wheels. well the rx-7 i think was probably somewhere around 350-400hp. rx-7 don't have a high horsepower number, but ther so light that even 250 will make it move. the total cost to do a rx-7 like that is probably around 30k maybe, then whatever the cost is to buy the car, it's tuff to say, because it all depends on where you get the parts and what you put on it, and in it, like if you want a powerful audio system, get ready to clean the bank, but if you just wanna mod the engine and make it look like a sleeper with rims and an exhaust, then you shouldn't have to high of a bill because there are very simple cheap mods to do for some nice HP, air filter-150$ for about 50hp maybe more, performance spark plugs-30$ 15hp, exhaust system 200-300$ around 70hp, it's def worth it, and i know of guys who do this to there cars and race it for some deep pockets

Sitting Trot...?

Troting is a side to side movement not an up and down one. The best advice I ever got was to try it and then transfer that feeling into your movement while under saddle. I know it took me awhile not to bounce but it is actually easier to learn without the saddle. The other advice I got that helped was to pretend you're on a bicycle and kind of "peddle" it's sort of hard to describe in works... easier to demonstrate!! Anyway Good Luck and keep practicing.

Transmission Not Shifting?

Recently went to pull one of my friends out of the mud with my ford f150, i got stuck, had water an inch from coming in through my doors (water was touching the rockers). Left the truck over night, got pulled out by a full size loader. The truck refuses to shift into any gear higher than first, it makes the attempt to shift at about 6500 rpms and then slams the truck forward but remains in first. At about 3000 rpms the truck shifts out of any gear and will regain movement again at 3000 rpms. I checked the dipstick there are little bubbles on it im guessing i got water in through the breather tube...One of my friends mentioned the solenoids but I don't know. Any USEFULL help would be appreciated (No saying "your problem is the blue oval on the grille"). I am going to flush the transmission but I doubt it will help. Thanks!

Like I said, I have a 1999 Dodge Stratus, with a 4 cylinder 2.4L engine. If I buy gas with a higher octane rating, will it help my car's performance, or could it possibly make it worse if my car can't handle the higher octane percentage?

Need some advice for relationship?

ive been with this particual girl for six mths now the only problem with the relationship is that all of her exes are still around. We are both bi but prefer women. She hangs out with her ex boyfriend about 3 times a week ( he is an old man compared to us). She also keeps in contact with her ex gf because of her relationship with the kids.
