Can you cut with an angle grinder?

I have a hitachi angle grinder and I need to cut 1/8 steel with it. I've been using the standard grinding disc and it does work but it's really slow. Is there an actual steel cutting disc that is sold? And no i'm not gonna get an acetylene torch
