Car died while driving and wont start?

I have a 97 subaru outback 2.5l dohc and I was in second gear revving about 5 grand and it just stalled out and now it wont start. It turns over fine and everything and you can kind of hear the exhaust kick in and want to start but it just doesn't.. I changed the plugs and wires about a week ago so those are fine, I'm thinking it's the fuel pump or a bad ignition coil? I can hear the injectors and I banged the gas tank a little to see if that would do anything. All the fuses look fine and I cant find a vacuum leak anywhere or any hoses loose.. any ideas??
